LDLC.com won the fourth and last RaidCall EMS One Summer Cup following a 2-0 victory over Copenhagen
LDLC.com won the fourth and last RaidCall EMS One Summer Cup following a 2-0 victory over Copenhagen Wolves in the grand final.
If for some teams this cup was a matter of life and death, as it was their last chance of making it to the group stage, for others, like Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic, it was simply not interesting, as both sides had already secured passage into the next stage.
The second day of the tournament began with LDLC.com edging past ESC Gaming 16-14 in a close contest, while on the other half of the bracket Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács' Virtus.pro were losing 16-10 against Copenhagen Wolves.
LDLC.com had already reached the grand final of an EMS Cup four times, so the question on everyone's mind was if they could finally break their duck in this competition.

The French team got off to a dream start and cruised to a 16-3 victory on de_inferno_se after going up 12-3 at the break, with Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez turning in a great display as he picked up a 2.30 rating.
On de_nuke_se, LDLC.com started out on the CT side and went into interval with a comfortable 13-2 lead, and even though Copenhagen Wolves tried to respond, it was simply too little, too late, as the Frenchmen ran out 16-10 victors.
